Résidence à Takt, Berlin

In July 2013, I will go in an artist residency at Takt kunstprojetraum (www.taktberlin.org), in Berlin. My project, is entitled “Design Versus Editing” and it comprises two different projects which are presently in the making. Since this residency was presented as a writer’s residency, I mainly plan to work on designing, writing and conceptualizing the project “Bad Acting”. At this moment, I know the outline of the project and I also have sketches. I intend to use my time at the residency to enrich my writing process and give me new ideas. I also want to take this opportunity to finish editing an audio / video project that is currently in production and which will be presented upon my return. The project is called “Versus” and it will be presented at the Canada Games, which will take place in Sherbrooke QC, in August 2013. A significant portion of the editing will be completed prior to my arrival in Berlin. I intend to use this space and time away from my daily life to give me a new perspective on the “Versus” project.
